Sports First Aid


The National Sports First Aid course is made up of an online component followed by a 1 day practial session. 

The online component is now an independent course. The online course is sufficient to apply for your UEFA Grassroots Leader Award through the Scottish FA.

However, to be a registered first aider for your team,
you must also complete the 1 day practical course.


Please note: Practical courses are only able to be booked after the online E-Learning has been completed. 


Online Course:

Candidates should create an account/log in to Scottish FA COMET System. You can enrol on the online course at a cost of £25 per person.

The name of the course is 'First Aid E-Learning (National Sports First Aid)' 


Following successful completion of this, you should follow the link to our website where you will be able to choose a suitable date and venue to complete the 1-day practical course. The cost for this course which runs from 9.30am - 4pm is £50. Upon completion of this, candidates will be sent a certificate which is valid for 3 years.

We have several courses running at venues throughout Scotland over the coming months.


Should you be a member of the Scottish Youth FA or Scottish Women’s Football then please contact them regarding funded places upon completion of the online course.
