The Benefits of Remedial & Sports Massage Post Lockdown
Last updated: 7.28am, Friday 31st July 2020
In line with government guidance and recovery from Lockdown, we're delighted to announce that we're able to offer Sports Massage, along with physiotherapy and podiatry once again. Gradually the clinic is returning to a "new normal", and we look forward to welcoming you back soon...
After 4 months of lockdown trying to stay 2 meters away from people and socialising through Zoom, it’s been really lovely returning to work. I feel like I am meeting old friends again and hearing about their new fitness regimes, home baking, homemade desks, amazing garden projects and the box-sets they have been watching, as well as treating a few niggling injuries.
Although things are a little different at Hampden Sports Clinic with PPE, cleaning regimes and one-way systems I am delighted to see you all back again and look forward to seeing current and new clients over the next few months.
Whether you have started a new fitness regime, been hunched over your laptop, overdone the DIY, been running around after the kids or dogs or simply overindulged on Amazon and Netflix we’ve got your back and are here to help.
The last few months have been very worrying and difficult for most people and I have no doubt there are many tight and tired muscles in desperate need of some TLC. We are back with smiles on our faces (behind masks of course) and I am on hand to help ease your tension, pain, discomfort, listen to your lockdown stories and hopefully make your day feel much better.
Some of the many benefits of adding remedial and sports massage into your post lockdown routine include; reducing stress, tension and anxiety by using relaxing massage strokes taking care of your mental and physical wellbeing; promoting Musculo-skeletal recovery by increased blood flow and circulation through deeper massage techniques to reduce muscle tension and pressure. Increase joint and muscle range of movement by easing tight and tired muscles with a range of soft tissue massage and mobility techniques. Not to mention add a general sense of normality back into your day.
I will do my best to fit you all in and look forward to seeing you all with masks on very soon.
The diary is still busy right now, so you may need to wait a bit longer than usual for a spot, but feel free to book ahead online via our website...
