David Creighton
Senior Physiotherapist
David qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2016 from Glasgow Caledonian University. With a keen interest in football David initially worked as a part-time Academy Physiotherapist for Kilmarnock FC whilst working full-time in the Private Sector. After working privately for a year, he then made the move to full time football where he spent over 4 and a half years at Celtic Football Club.
Starting off as the Head Academy Physiotherapist David then moved to the Reserve Squad where he spent just under 3 years. Working in this high-performance environment David gained invaluable experience dealing with a vast range of acute sporting injuries. He was responsible for conducting accurate clinical assessments and constructing tailor made rehabilitation programmes, taking players through their gym and pitch-based rehabilitation to get them back on the pitch.
In 2021 David joined the NHS and spent a year working as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Gartnavel General Hospital. Here, he was responsible for assessing and treating a wide range of upper and lower extremity conditions ranging from post-op orthopaedic referrals, neurological and general musculoskeletal conditions.
On his down time David likes a game of fives and hacks his way around his local golf course.
